He listens to X27?'s story.
He continues to tell his story. He was sent to Earth on a secret mission to organise an escape line with a code X27, exchanging his gold suit for an ordinary metal one. He was chased by the Robot Investigation Police and fled into oncoming traffic on the motorway, losing his leg and his memory. He was sold to Ro-Busters by the motorist who hit him and believing X27? to be his name. After telling his story he died and the other robots buried him.
He listens to X27?'s story. He masquerades as a human to escort the other robots.
At least three humans are killed in X27?'s flashback.
Hammer-Stein: "May he rust in peace!"
Doctor Feeley Good Humm-de-humms another three times.

INFLUENCES & REFERENCES
X27?'s rallying cry of "Robots...our planet needs you!" echoes the slogan on a recruitment poster from September 1914 featuring Lord Kitchener with the caption "Your Country Needs YOU".
Script: Pat Mills
Artist: Mike McMahon
Letters: Peter Knight
This feels slow to begin with and rushed later on. X27?'s flashback isn't as much fun this time around and his death is perfunctory. Costuming Casey is great, but the ending is a bit empty.
