INFLUENCES & REFERENCES
Supermarket chain Tesco was founded in 1919 and grew from a collection of market stalls to the second-largest retailer in the world. Woolworths was founded as F. W. Woolworth in the USA in 1878, a British offshoot opened in 1909 and ceased trading in 2009.
There are no credits printed in the strip itself and so the following are taken from Barney.
Script: Gerry Finley-Day
Artist: Jesus Blasco
Letters: Jack Potter
Again this part opens with a splash page showing Volgan atrocities and then the narrative switches to Savage. The action is well plotted, although the dialogue (and the thought bubbles) are a little odd.
